Thursday, November 21 | The Museum of Food and Drink (MOFAD) recently hosted its first fundraising gala since the Covid pandemic. The evening honored owners of the Russ & Daughters appetizing shop—Niki Russ, Josh Russ Tupper, and Maria and Mark Russ Federman—who continue to keep the family tradition alive. The menu, delivered by Night Kitchen, paid tribute to street-cart culture, from which Russ & Daughters was born more than a century ago. Present to support MOFAD’s cause was a who’s-who of the culinary scene and beyond — a burger scholar, James Beard-award winning writer, a sensory expert, influencers and many more.
